Aesthetic Treatments and Interventions
Laser waxing
Laser hair removal is a treatment that uses a specific beam of light with a specific wavelength. With regard to hair removal, the melanin, which is the pigment responsible for its color, will absorb this laser light, which generates localized heating and consequently destroys the hair. The darker the hair, the more effective its destruction, as the greater the energy absorption. The greater the contrast between the hair color and the skin (dark hair, light skin), the more effective the epilation. When the contrast is lower, there is a need to reduce the laser power and thus, the effectiveness decreases, increasing the number of sessions and the time to obtain the desired results.
Lymphatic drainage
The lymphatic system is responsible for eliminating excess fluid and some toxic substances from body tissues and organs. Consisting of a network of lymphatic vessels and capillaries, this system drains this excess fluid, in the form of lymph, into the bloodstream. Any dysfunction of the lymphatic system leads to fluid retention in the tissues which, by filling the spaces between cells, will cause swelling called edema. The blockage of the physiological drainage of the lymph by the lymphatic system can result from a surgical intervention, venous insufficiency, pregnancy, menstrual cycle, presence of scars, burns, obesity, among others. Manual lymphatic drainage is a technique that helps the lymphatic system to eliminate accumulated fluids and toxins. By increasing the flow and speed of lymphatic circulation, drainage decreases fluid retention, activates blood circulation, generating a sense of well-being, leading to a decrease in symptoms with consequent body and mental relaxation. It must be performed by qualified and experienced professionals and is painless, consisting of smooth, superficial movements that follow the path of the superficial lymphatic system.
Facial Harmonization
Hyaluronic acid is a natural constituent of the skin and a fundamental element in its balance, contributing to its hydration and turgor. With age and the passage of time, hyaluronic acid gradually decreases. It is considered the ideal “filler”, as it is completely compatible and has no risk of rejection. Facial harmonization with hyaluronic acid seeks to rebalance facial proportions, without exaggeration, respecting the individual features of each patient. By restoring lost volume (jawline, cheekbones, temples) and at the same time improving skin quality, facial harmonization is the key to preventing aging. For a lasting and natural result, the harmonization process must be gradual and delicate.

Microneedling or Percutaneous Collagen Induction
It is a minimally invasive procedure that consists of stimulating the skin through microneedles that, in repeated movements, create microchannels. These microchannels translate a controlled skin aggression (what we see is just a localized redness in the treated area) which, on the one hand, promotes the formation of collagen and elastin (response to this aggression) and on the other hand, the microscopic channels allow penetration of active substances where they are needed most, on the skin. It is a simple procedure, which has a cumulative effect, requiring repetition every 2/2 or 3/3 weeks. It is indicated for acne scars, hyperpigmentation such as melasma, enlarged pores, stretch marks, sagging and capillary stimulation. It can be associated with the performance of peelings.
chemical peeling
This treatment consists of the application, on the skin, of one or more acids that promote, in a controlled manner, the renewal of certain layers of the epidermis and/or dermis, causing or not peeling, depending on the type of product used, the quantity and the area where it was applied. That is, even if this skin peeling does not occur, it is important to know that the “peeling” was effective. During application, you may feel a burning sensation that ends spontaneously or with the neutralization of the “peeling”. It can be complemented with microneedling whenever indicated.
rhinomodelation
Rhinomodelation consists of changing the shape and proportions of the nose through the application of hyaluronic acid. It is not the same as a surgical intervention, it is only performed using local anesthesia and strategic application of hyaluronic acid in certain regions of the nose. The functional component of the nose is not addressed, only the external component of the nose undergoes changes. The results are different from the post-surgical results, as the changes are subtle and not permanent (hyaluronic acid is reabsorbed over time). This is a suitable procedure for correcting minor nasal imperfections, slight alterations in the projection of the dorsum, nasal tip or the shape of the tip itself.
Treatment of Facial Sagging / Collagen Inducers
The gradual loss of collagen that begins between the ages of 20 and 30 is one of the main causes of facial sagging. Collagen inducers are non-permanent, biocompatible substances that, once applied to the face, will stimulate the skin's fibroblasts to produce collagen. What happens, after the application of a collagen inducer in the deep dermis or subcutaneous tissue, is a subclinical inflammatory response, that is, it is not perceptible, it does not cause symptoms, but it is the necessary stimulus for the organism to react, responding with the increased collagen production. There is no change in the proportions of the face, but the skin is firmer, thicker and healthier looking. The application is phased, divided into 3 to 4 sessions, with intervals of 1 to 2 months, and the results begin to be noticeable at the end of the first month of treatment, when the body's response to the presence of the collagen inducer begins finally noticed.
Radio frequency
Thanks to the increase in temperature in the dermis (one of the layers of the skin), collagen contracts, boosting its regeneration. This treatment is very simple and usually takes several sessions, depending on the quality of the skin and the age of the patient. It is, therefore, a recommended treatment for improving sagging skin, both preventively and therapeutically, and can be used on the face and neck, according to the patient's tolerance and in the absence of contraindications.
